Spinal Flow Technique

The Spinal Flow Technique is based on the scientific fact that your nervous system controls the function of every cell, tissue, organ, and system of your body. Your nervous system consists of your brain, spinal cord, and millions of nerves. While your brain is protected by the skull, your spinal cord is protected by the 24 moving bones of the spine.

Many everyday activities can cause these spinal bones to lose their normal position or motion. This can result in nervous system dysfunction and ultimately, pain, disease, and illness.

The spinal flow approach is to detect, reduce, and help prevent nervous system blockages and create more ease in the body.

The goal is to enhance overall well-being by promoting proper energy flow and alignment throughout the body.

Hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy is a therapeutic technique that uses guided relaxation, focused attention, and suggestion to help individuals enter a trance-like state. In this state, the therapist can explore and address subconscious thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Hypnotherapy is often used to treat various issues, including anxiety, phobias, and certain habits, by tapping into the power of the mind-body connection.

Who created the Spinal Flow Technique?

Dr Carli Axford’s Spinal Flow Technique

About Dr Carli Axford

FOUNDER OF SPINAL FLOW TECHNIQUE ™ & THE HEALERS ACADEMY

Dr Carli Axford’s experience as a former chiropractor has given her deep expertise in healing the spine, nervous system and body.

Her understanding of how to run successful clinics, workshops and retreats have shown her the body’s ability to transform, so Dr Carli now specialises in teaching this to others.

Graduating dux of a double chiropractic degree from RMIT university gave Dr Carli the doctor title, but it’s her wisdom as a hands-on practitioner that helped her develop the transformative Spinal Flow Technique.

Dr Carli knows what works to help people discover the innate intelligence that exists inside them, allowing their body’s healing abilities to flow by expanding the Spinal Wave that exists inside all of us.

Pain is just one of the signals our wise body sends when it is struggling with stress or illness. Spinal Flow Technique tunes in to what the body is trying to say to enable spinal blockages to be released and transform their wellbeing.

“In my experience, stress is the number one cause of pain and symptoms like depression, anxiety, chronic fatigue, sleep problems and digestive issues,” she says.

Stress from past emotional traumas, the chemicals we live with and the physical stress of accidents or repetitive strain can all be released using Spinal Flow Technique.

EXPLORING THE WISDOM WITHIN

Dr Carli Axford has travelled across the globe, working and building clinics and retreat businesses across the United States, Europe, South Africa, the United Kingdom and Asia.

Her first non-scientific healing experiences came when she lived in India’s OSHO ashram where she taught meditation and yoga and offered healing sessions to those in pain.

As Dr Carli Axford discovered the wisdom the body contains, she began developing what would become the 7 gateways of the spine and her signature 33 access points to allow more people to heal.

Dr Carli Axford’s quest for knowledge has seen her learn a raft of different healing modalities –  including network spinal analysis, bio geometric integration, torque release technique, sacro occipital technique, applied kinesiology, neuro emotional technique and EFT – but she instinctively knew the 7 gateways of the spine offered the simplest tool for healing.

“The 7 gateways of the spine tell us so much about how a person has lived and experienced life, but more importantly where they hold stress,” she says.

“The more I learned about the human body, the more I kept coming back to the gateways of the spine and the Spinal Wave that’s inside us which can expand to enable healing to happen.”

Spinal Flow Technique improves people’s connection to the innate intelligence that already exists within the body, releasing blockages caused by chemical, physical or emotional stress.

Dr Carli Axford is determined to not only find the wisdom within, but explore the wisdom of the earth and environment. She spends time being close to the forest and the ocean, exploring the intelligence of nature.

Her dedication to helping and healing others is practiced through her pro bono work, which she encourages all practitioners to do. She regularly donates her time to supporting Indigenous health and environmental work.

Dr Carli Axford is a global citizen with her heart in Australia. She lives on the Gold Coast of Australia with her husband and two children.
